Frequently asked questions
Here are answers to some common questions about our charter bus service. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please contact our customer service.
Planning the trip
You can hire a bus for trips lasting several days. In order for us to create a suitable offer for you, please send us your travel plans by e-mail to [email protected].
We offer buses of various sizes for your comfort. Coaches typically have 49-62 seats, while double-decker buses can accommodate up to 78 passengers. The price quote you receive will depend on the number of people traveling with you. The specific bus that you will be assigned for your journey will depend on its availability.
Reservations
Yes. Each passenger needs their own seat, so the prices are the same for everyone.
Once you have booked your trip, we will make arrangements to provide a suitable bus for your transportation needs. The transportation details will be confirmed in a booking confirmation email, which you should receive within 48 hours of making your booking. However, we reserve the right to cancel the trip if the fare is not paid, if the trip is deemed unsafe, or if there is insufficient capacity available.
Luggage
Groups of up to 35 people are allowed to carry one piece of hand luggage per passenger, with a maximum size of 42 x 30 x 18 cm. However, if the group size exceeds 36 people, each passenger is permitted to carry one piece of hand luggage (max. 42 x 30 x 18 cm) and one piece of baggage (max. 67 x 50 x 27 cm). If the normal baggage allowance is exceeded, please contact [email protected] for assistance. Any additional or special luggage must be informed in advance so that we can arrange the right coach for you. Please note that there might be an additional charge for extra luggage space.
If you need to transport large items such as skis or bicycles, we can arrange a bus with spacious luggage compartments or an additional trailer, but we require advance notice for such arrangements. Please note that extra luggage may result in additional costs, so it’s important to let us know beforehand.
On request, you can leave your luggage on the bus. Please note, however, that this may incur additional costs.
Payment
Payment must be made at least 14 days before the departure date. Invoicing is possible by e-mail, e-invoice or letter. We will send you an invoice in the way you prefer, with a due date of 14 days before the departure date. Unfortunately, cash payment on the day of departure is not possible.
Payment must be made at least 7 days before the start of the trip.
You can cancel up to 14 days before the planned departure date at no cost. If you cancel 13-7 days before the scheduled departure time, a cancellation fee of 75% of the total agreed price will be charged. If the cancellation is made 6 to 1 day before the scheduled departure time, a cancellation fee of 90 % of the total agreed price of the trip will be charged. If cancellation is made on the day of travel, 100 % of the total agreed price of the trip will be refunded. If you have purchased cancellation cover, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you have any questions about your invoice, please contact us by email at [email protected].

During the trip
The equipment of buses varies. Buses and coaches often come with a microphone, music connection and a fridge/refrigerator as standard. If you have any additional requirements, please let us know in advance when you make your booking, either in the comments box or by emailing [email protected]. We will then send you an updated offer. Please note that the trips on tilausajobussit.fi are operated by buses from several different operators.
Buses are typically fitted with toilets for journeys longer than 100 kilometers and with at least 41 seats. However, the toilet capacity is limited, so please keep that in mind. During winter, the toilet’s functionality cannot be guaranteed due to the risk of icing. If needed, you can ask the driver to take short toilet breaks.
You will receive the bus driver’s contact details by email the working day before your journey so that you can contact him or her in case of an emergency. If you have any questions about your journey, you can contact us either by e-mail at [email protected] or by telephone on +358 41 318 8884 (customer service weekdays 10-15, on-call 24h).
Heavy traffic can cause unexpected delays. If your bus is not at the agreed departure point within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time, contact the bus driver. If you cannot reach the driver, you can reach us on +358 41 318 8884. We will locate your bus and inform you.
In principle, no breaks will be organised unless agreed in advance. However, for longer journeys, drivers are required by law to take a 45-minute rest break after 4.5 hours at the latest. If necessary, short toilet and smoking breaks can be requested from the bus driver.
Playing your own music is not usually a problem. However, please note that the bus driver must ensure the safety of all passengers throughout the journey and the volume must not affect his or her concentration.
It is not usually possible to transport dogs and other animals on long-distance buses. However, you can request a ride at [email protected].
Other frequently asked questions
Seat belts are compulsory for everyone travelling in buses and coaches.
We recommend that children between 0 and 3 years of age are carried in child seats. Seats must be secured with (two-point) safety belts in the bus or coach while the vehicle is in motion and those with small children must take them with them. The bus driver reserves the right to refuse carriage if a seat is missing.
The cost of normal cleaning is included in the price of the charter. Dirt requiring special cleaning will be charged to the customer. The subscriber will also be charged for the repair of damage and breakages caused by passengers in the bus.
Allow enough time to travel, as there may be border controls and travel time may increase as a result. Please note that when travelling to another country, all travellers should take all necessary documents (e.g. ID card or passport, visa, residence permit, etc.) and carry only duty-free items. To speed up customs, luggage should not be locked and should be marked with the passenger’s name and address to avoid confusion. Please check in advance the necessary travel documents, currency, customs and health regulations.
In this case, please contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone on +358 41 318 8884 (weekdays 10-15). We need information about the trip and the lost goods. We will then contact the bus partner/driver concerned and inform you immediately.
